Meet Coach Cam

Cameron Campbell — known as “Coach Cam” for his work with the Houston Texans, USA Football, and KIPP Houston High School — is a leader, public speaker, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and author.

His thousand-plus presentations over the last 15 years have addressed audiences from the NFL, NBA, and MLB, as well as hundreds of schools, service organizations, and civic groups.

Dedicated to bettering the community through human networks of compassion, diversity, and economic empowerment, Coach Cam’s background includes:

  • Current Houston Texans Play Safe Coach
  • Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle award winner
  • Former high school head football coach and athletic director
  • Author of ‘Alpha: Redefined, 12 Servant Leadership Principles of Legendary Leaders’
  • Cy-Fair ISD graduate

At the center of Coach Cam’s personal and professional life is his character. Ask any of his teammates, players, employees, or business associates about Coach Cam’s take on accountability. The next time Cam makes an excuse will be the first time.

It’s that toughness – that iron will applied to his own self development – that constitutes his #GridironGrit. But surrounding that core is compassion, a drive for diversity, and an understanding of the need for economic empowerment for all.
